Soooo - update on the girls. Bailey is first! This girl has been talking and talking. I can't understand most of it, but she loves to get louder and softer and screech. She can say: no-no (with a pointing finger), bye-bye, da-da, ma-ma, na-na (banana and she uses it for any food she wants), mo (more), shooos (shoes), sisssss (sister), doh (dog), and I'm sure she knows more, but that's what I can think of right now. She loves to eat still, and she will try most things. She did not like watermelon, though. I think the texture was weird for her. She is scared of dogs, but she is intrigued by them, too. I hope she gets over this later. She takes direction pretty well (when she wants to). It is so amazing how much they understand at her age. She has become more loving, too. She gives a lot more hugs and kisses than she used to, which I love!
I cannot believe Kya is going to be a kindergartener in August. It feels like I just birthed her. I was getting teary-eyed at senior Sunday at church because all I could think about was Kya graduating from high school. She is so pumped about going to "big" school. We went to an open house night at her school, and they gave us a packet of things to practice, and Kya insisted on doing it the next day. I'm glad she feels this way about homework and hope it continues! She is a great big sister to Bailey and is always helping me with Bailey. She also helps me remember things, too. It's pretty handy! :).
